Service 01
Most unrecovered industrial streams are complex or mixed materials whose value remains untapped as long as they are not separated. Valo-Solutions designs its treatment lines with technical partners and operates them at its Moutier site to isolate each fraction, qualify it and reinject it into production channels.
A residual material that used to be a management cost becomes a financially recoverable resource.
Local treatment and direct reinjection into production channels reduce CO₂ emissions and measurably lower the carbon footprint.
Every stream is documented and treated through short, local supply chains, with traceability guaranteed at every step.
Treated materials stay within the local industry, helping secure resources whose long-term availability is a growing concern.
Expertise
Each line is custom-designed according to the characteristics of the incoming stream and the recovery objectives.

Case in practice
Geberit, a manufacturer of sanitary systems, faced a recurring problem: no treatment solution existed for its production waste within an acceptable radius. The only available option was export to distant foreign channels, with no real material recovery, only thermal.
In partnership, Valo-Solutions developed a dedicated treatment line that delivers both economic and environmental value: the treated materials are fed directly back into the production circuit, significantly reducing CO₂ emissions and removing the dependence on distant channels. The environmental gains of this process were quantified through a life cycle assessment (LCA).
This model, custom-designed, locally operated and circularity-driven, can be replicated and adapted to other industrial streams.

Life cycle assessment
The environmental gains of the line dedicated to our partner Geberit were quantified through a full life cycle assessment (LCA), carried out with our partners.
